Please Help Me ID This Growing in My Coral

This is growing very quickly in my coral.

Can anyone tell me what it is?

Is it bad?

Caulerpa (Macro Algae) of some sort. Most, at least IMHO, are to be considered as a invasive nuisance. pull the rock, trim it back as close as you can, and then carefully (an eyedropper will work well) put Hydrogen Peroxide on it. Allow it to soak on for a few minutes and then rinse in tank water and return to your tank. Take care of it now and it won't become an issue.

It looks kind of like Caulerpa peltata. Before you do anything drastic sometimes this type of algae will come of in one piece if you pull slow. If it happens to break don't worry about it, just grab another branch and do it again.

The zoanthids won't be bothered by a little air at all. The eyedropper will let you minimze contact between the H2O2 and them.
