I don't think I've seen a coral quite like that...
Is ther any poylp extention...I can't see any in the pic..
Deff. an odd one.
 
Is this a trick? Supaboy was all over that. A while back I remember you trying to give an iquana away. Lizard or coral? No polyp extension, only tongue extension :D
 
This does feel like a cruel joke now! I was about to say some odd morph of A. humilus, or A. gemmifera:p

something like this...romanesque broccoli.... Some kind of vegetable...

i was gonna say fruit until david mentioned it. i've seen some weird fruit that looks like that come from vietnam.

I was searching for some pictures and spotted this. I thought exactly what you guys did--A. monticulosa, gemmifera, humilis. Sorry for the trickery....

R U sure it's from VN?? I've not seen anything fruit like that in VN or here.
 
It definitely is a Romanesque broccoli. Just think of it a a mutant cauliflower. Saw some the other day in Pike's Place Market in Seattle :)
