I have a 4 month old tank with base rock and live sand. The cycle completed and I had a diatom outbreak which has since cleared. I'm seeing hair like stuff growing out of my rock, not the sand. I can't easily remove it by hand or with tweezers. It will not blow off with a turkey baster. I'm trying to pull it out by hand and it doesn't seem to want to let go. Could anyone please identify what this is for me and how to get rid of it. Thank you in advance for your time and attention. It's appreciated. Tank parameters: 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites, 40 nitrates, 0 phosphates, 460 calcium, 9 dkh, 76 degrees, 8.1 ph, 1.025 salt, I'm using Reef Crystals as my salt, I have an AI Prime light on for 8 hours full 10K light and 4 hours 20K ramp up and down and run it at 1% dark blue all night.
