Hello all,
at the moment i have a rather large reef(well for my standards).but i am moving house and the new place wont support this kind of weight(floating wooden floor....old.....),and come to think of it my pocket cant support it either, being a student and all. so i am selling and down sizing to a nano tank.
Now I need some advice on the setup. Here are my initial ideas:
Plan A.
a pre-made nano tank 50litres or 80 liters
make use of the built in filter
1x32w Dual Daylight & 1x32w Dual Actinic
Plan B
30-40 liters AG tank (from lfs) drilled and tapped
30 liter sump(with a fudge compartment
Ocean runner for return and circulation (1200lph)
TMC V2 400 skimmer
Arcadia dual 24w T5’s (marine white & actinic)
Now I plan on soft corals...I might keep some of my existing shrooms and xenias. Witch I want to keep little maroon clown and maybe a watchman goby. Is the skimmer overkill? Do those built in filter work well?
Any ideas and suggestions will be of great help in my decision
