Please help my first BTA

I bought a BTA thoday. After I put it in the tank, it moved around for quite a while and found the location to stay. However, it stays under a rock and face down. Tonight I found that all the bubbles shrinked. Thus I turned the light on again, and it start discharging a lot of silky brown dark thing from its body. Did it die? I have a foxface Lo. in the tank. I just wondering if Foxface might poisoned it?

Your tank is a little young to be adding an anemone. Often tanks that are less than 6 months to a year old aren't really very stable.

That said, BTAs often hide in the rocks, away from the lights, while they are adjusting to a new tank. This sometimes takes weeks.

They also frequently deflate. What you're describing sounds like it was expelling waste. Bubbles will come and go - no one really is sure why. Some fish will bother anemones, but I don't think foxfaces are known to.

Give the anemone some time. It's probably just getting used to your tank. Still, it wouldn't hurt to check your parameters to see if something is out of whack.
