Please help!! Nothing will stay alive

Hey all, experienced reef keeper here. Long story short(cause I don't want to type on my phone). Moved my tank, upgraded to a 65gallon. Had tons or coral, both SPS N LPS. everything died. Did a ton of water changes, levels are good and so is my temp. Snails seem to die after only a day. I have NO idea what is going on. It's been 4 months already since I moved. Fish and crabs are doing great. I used new live sand and my live rock that I already had. Rocking a full spectrum LED light along with a kessil so lighting is not a factor. My tank, (before I moved) was doing amazing for 3 years. If anybody has any idea please let me know. Was going to start from scratch again

Did you buy the tank new or was it used?

If used, did the previous owner potentially use it for freshwater? (Copper poisoning can be an issue from tanks previously used for freshwater)

I would suspect your tank is on major cycling. Did you test your water after being setup at new place?

Brand new tank. Using RO water to make saltwater. Was running a carbon bag but I've been struggling with red slime for over a month. Treated it several times and is still visible. Never had this problem in my 15 years of reef keeping

I did use a small brass Fitment ( for whatever reason don't ask) but took it out. Maybe that had something to do with it?

Yes, I'm an idiot for that part, but between moving, buying a house, getting married, and having a baby. It slipped my mind

The brass fitting was probably what was causing everything to die if it was dying fast like that. (Brass is a copper alloy)

Yea, you could have had a cycle issue.. but its amazing how hardy some corals can be.

Definitely not an expert on the copper end of things, not sure what you would have to do if that really is the problem, unfortunately.

Using RO water to make saltwater.

Got Chloramines at the new location?
Got proper carbon filtration to deal with it? Not all Carbon blocks are created equal.
Checked for total chlorine in the product water lately.
Bigger tank and move = lots of water produced.
Lots of water changes = lots more water produced

Spent or inadequate Carbon filtration = death

Polyfilter pads can remove copper, over time. It'll turn blue, binding the stuff.
