I bought a BTA about 5 weeks ago from the LFS. It was looking good for the first week in my tank. My Maroon clown went right for it and it stayed away from the blue carpet. Then about 4 weeks ago it went under the rock that it was staying on. At night it would shrink up then during the day it would be fine. Then 3 nights ago i was looking under the rock and saw that it was only hanging on by a small portion of the foot. The rest of the foot was just floating in the water. I was not able to get a picture of the foot since it is in a tuff place to take a picture of. Please let me know if you think, also it is under about 200 lbs of rock so taking it out is probably not an easy option.

Have you been feeding it? Was it always this pale light color? How old was your tank when you added this bta? What kind of lights do you have?

it was that white when i first got it. It was under 6 vhos in a shallow tank at the lfs.
The tank was about 5 months old and there is a large about 22 inch blue carpet in the tank.
I have never directly feed either anemone. I do put in a mix of zoo plex, plankton, and micro vert 3 times per week. Plus 2 times per week i put in mysis shrimp.
I also feed my fish krill, and formula 1 and 2.
All my water spcs are good:
PH 8.2-8.4
SG 1.022
Alk: 9-11 dkh

You need to feed your bta, it needs meaty foods. A lot of lfs say that all they need is light. That is not the case with any anemone..accept maybe pest anemone. If you don't feed your anemone soon it will melt and die. Feed it silverside fish, raw shrimp pieces, krill, squid pieces, and some times mysis but mysis are like a treat or m&ms.. they can't thrive and grow just eating mysis. Having a maroon host a bta in that condition could kill it faster. If I were you I would keep the maroon away until your bta recovers. I have seen what happens when a clown hosts a sick anemone..the anemone was rubbed to death.
