I am installing a Current-USA 1/4 HP modular chiller and have run into a snag.
Is my understanding correct that this sleeve on the temp sensor is supposed to stay on when the sensor is installed into the sensor port of the chiller?
The sleeve is double zip tied at the controller side, and heat crimped at the sensor side.
The manual says nothing of this sleeve. I just cant see how it could be accurate with the sleeve on there. Thanks.
