Okay I have a few of these spider web looking things in my tank, looks like some kind of sponge, but im not sure any help would be appreciated.

yes you are correct it is a sponge.

Interesting, I have some too. They are pretty hardy suckers. Any issue with placing a coral in their general area?

Nope.

Some people have concerns when they grow on zoanthids but it never adversely affected mine.

Are you talking about the white sponge or the spider web things that shoot out of those tubes in your picture? If you are talking about spider web looking things coming out of tubes, those are vermetid snails.
