Hi there my buddy just tore down his tank and had 2 zoa frags that weren't doing so hot. I was wondering if anyone could identify them and tell me what requirements they need so I don't kill them off completely. I couldn't find there names on any website but I figured someone on here could help me out. Thanks

Theres also 2 heads of another type of zoa on the back of the green ones that I couldnt get in the picture but its the same green outside with a brighter green mouth

It probably doesn't matter too much what kind they are, as long as they are Zoas which they are. What is happening to them that is not right? Are they melting? Are their heads disappearing? Most issues can be taken care of by basic decent water conditions and moderate lighting.

The red ones are doing fine but the green ones the heads kept falling off of the rock they were on and disappearing.

I have seen heads fall off as a reaction from a shock. If the polyp thinks its environment is going to kill it, it will drop the head off so it can be swept away to a better spot. Sadly I have done this to one or two small colonies in my tank because I cleaned the rock too much trying to get pest algae off. Just let that colony adjust as best it can, I doubt there is anything you can do to make it better. I would guess that after a little calm time in your tank, it will stop dropping heads. You can also grab those heads as they fall, or with a light brushing, some of them may fall off. Drill a small hole the size of the polyp in a piece of rock and stick the polyp in it. It will start a new colony there then. I have done that with very good success.

Ill see if I can catch them and glue them to some little pieces of LR that I have extra. Ive had troubles in the past when it comes to glueing soft corals with my IC gel coral glue. They seem to be attached but then the next day theyre floating around again. Is there any tips that you guys might have as to keep them secured to the rock that you glue them too?

Gluing may not work since they dropped their heads and they have no rocks attached to them. That is why I drilled the small hole to stick each one in. The hole keeps them put.
