please help

4' or 6' level ( making sure the level is the full length of the cabinet at least ) .... pack of shims ( if you are out near c'ville i can give you a couple but there not expensive ...might spend more on gas driving out than you would buying a whole pack ).... a razor knife ........

just level it out both ways .... you shouldnt have to shim it more than once ..... trim it out by moving more of teh shim under the cabinet and when you have it centered then cut the shim off with a razor knife where you cant see it anymore .... they break easy so you just have to score it with the knife and break it by hand .... the weight will hold it in place .... check at least on more time once you add some weight to make sure it stays level

if your cabinet has feet you need to adjust the feet ... you shouldn't try to shim under the feet cause then it wont be stable

pm me if you cant figure it out .... i build cabinets for a living so i might know a thing or two ;)

Thanks. I am going to go to Lowes on the way home. WOuld it be safer to put a shim in each corner. The left side needs to be lifted some, so i would think instead of using one in the middle, i would be safer with two in the corners. What ya think?

Im sorry i should have been more specific ... you dont shim a cabinet in the middle ... only in the corners csaue the cabinet has to transfer weight down on its side and not in the middle or it can sag ... i dont know what your floor is like of course ... but if you have to shim it in more than one place to make it level you can .... the more shims you use .....however .... the more you have to play with it to keep it level ... you can try adjustable feet or maybe even furinture sliders it you want both are usuallly in the same aisle as the cabinet knobs @ HD or Lowe's

well its nice to know we have a carpenter in the family, we have a few plumbers, are there any electricians, with all this we could build a clud house to hold our meetings,
