Please Help!!!!

I have a problem with one of my clams. The problem is that on the side of the clam there is vertmaid snail I know its harmless but its groing across the clam. And now the clam has a hard time spreading its mantle. How can I get rid of this snail with out hurting the clam?TIA

Can you take a knife or flathead screwdriver and gouge the snail off?

if you have a fragging kit remove it with that, be sure to get all the guts out of the snail and your fish will love you for the feast. Just be careful not to cut into the clams shell.
