I have noticed these things on my frogspawn for a while now but until just last night I didnt realize they were alive. I thought it was just part of the coral. I assume they are some sort of flat worm. When I fed my frogspawn these things went nuts and started going after the food I think. That was the first time I even saw them moving. Anyway I just took a baster and sprayed the frog spawn and in two sprays, this is what came off of the coral. Are these things harmful to the coral and other types of corals? I dont see them on anything else but this one frogspawn. Please advise what they are and if they are harmful how I can deal with them. Thx alot!

Im just curious if they are harmful and how I can deal with them. They have been on my frogspawn for probably 7 or 8 months and the coral looks pretty happy IMO...

When they die, they release toxins into the water. If a large percentrage die at once, it can be detrimental to the other life in your system. Look into Salifert Flatworm eXit. It didn't work for me but others swear by it.

Some report no problems with their flatworms. Personally, I have none of those(I have the lttle harmless white ones). If they do not hurt the corals you may want to leave them alone. Sometimes they crash on their own.

I personally havent had any problems at all with them and the coral even doesnt really seem to mind them either. The FS was covered with them and it still looked all puffy and extended most of the time.
