LFS are in it to make money. Awareness of any intended purchase is the burden of the purchaser themselves and not the LFS. Doing your homework in advance of any purchase is the only way to prevent this type of thing from happening.
Its a live and learn thing so next time just be better prepared. Could'nt begin to tell the stories of the bad purchases I made from my LFS advice, pre RC of course.
