They are mainly nocturnal, so look for him out on the hunt at night.
Pick up the rocks that rest on the sand, and look of the underside of the rock. I have found that this is where they like to hide.
I assume you already flushed it? General plea: when one finds stuff like this, instead of flushing it, I would encourage people to photograph it thoroughly and preserve it in acetone or high concentration ethanol (everclear works great) and then post about it here. I know a guy who might have been interested in using that for DNA studies.

Thanks for letting me know. If you find one please keep it alive and think of me? If they are generalists that feed on molluscs it might also make a nice pet for our inverterbrate zoology course. I don't actually work on flatworms but I know people who do and many of these animals are really difficult to come across.
