I found a nest if these guys while cleaning out one of my water pumps. Looks like a shrimp maybe, can't tell View attachment 322002

It's a scud or Gammarus. Harmless.

Hard for me to identify between an isopod or an amphipod. The former is with caution as some are not friends, while the latter are always welcome and benefical.
