While unpleasant to the eye, this is really no big deal. If you want to get rid of it though you could use an old credit card or drivers license and slide it down the glass. Piece of cake.
 
+1 get some chemiclean follow directions. Increase flow. Do Water changes after chemi treatment . And keep up on em if you have to do by weekly to remove our your high nutrient water from tank.
 
Chemiclean however can be problematic in a) an inadequate skimmer to remove the dieoff (water changes help) and b) a new and still weak tank. Another, easier on the system cure, is 3 days with the lights turned off, followed by water changes, once monthly.

Many new tanks get cyano repeatedly, especially if there is exposure to sunlight from a window. Looks awful but doesn't hurt much unless really bad and obscuring the light.
