Well it started life as pretty plain old cured Kenya LR. After three months in my tank it looks like this. Truly amazing how seaweed, algae and the other gazillion creatures spring back to life when provided a suitable habitat again.
yep the first pic is a sponge, its possibly a Clathrina sp. but without a microscope and someone that knows what they are looking at its impossible to tell 100% with any sponge.
the second pic is a sponge as well, but i couldnt tell what kind. there is also a Foraminiferan at the bottom of that pic. its the thing with the "hairs" sticking out.
