is it real tough ? like strong strands or easily removed ?

Strong strands for sure. I have to brush it with a very strong brush and even then I have to apply a lot of pressure and go back and forth many times.

yes i had a couple of patches of it and they were in controllable areas so i hit it with joes juice and left the powerheads off fo a couple of hours and it killed it quite well . it did kill off everything else on that area but it was just coraline algae and it grew back quickly .
