I got this SPS piece about 2 months ago and the smaller one at the same time but that was in my friends tank who just happens to live in the same house!

He went from a 210 to a 72 since the floor can not handle the weight.

Anyways here is the pic.

Whatever it is, is it doing okay?

Kinda hard to tell from the pic, but the polyps look like hydnophora. If it is, very powerful short sweeper tentacles. One of the most agro SPS. The look to be doin well, so do the majano. I would kill those before the become an issue.

The Majano are those little polyps? OMG, they are such a problem in my tank! They are all over the place. Any new piece of coral i get, they just fly over and sit right in and make the other coral close up. How can I kill them? I HATE THEM!!!

Kalk paste, mix up a batch of kalkwaser about the consistency of baby food, turn off all your power heads and give em a good coating. I wait about 20 minutes then use a small 1/4" siphon tube and get all the kalk paste out worked very well for me.

Seems like i may have to do it in batches since I have like 100+

Thank you for the help and info! I've asked many lfs around me and no one knew what it was.

I had to boil my rock to kill all the majano, nasty little things. If you LFS doesn't know what a majano is, you might want to look into a different LFS.
