My tank has been cycling for about the last month and a half, and I have started to notice these things on the walls of my tank. I see about 1 or 2 of them a night after the lights go out. The picture is pretty bad, so I will try to describe it... There isnt much to it, other than a white oval body with 2 legs. It moves around the glass, sucking on it like a snail would, but it has no shell. They are about 1-2 mm in length. Anyone know what they are and if they are reef safe? Thanks!!

Flat worms, some are of no consequence but others can be a real pest. Usually light brown are herbivorous so no issues.

yes, look throughout this "other inverts" section, ther are SEVERAL with the same question as you with much better pictures so you can compare, the other ones have people answering with helpful information on your species in your tank, check it out!

Flatworms. Looks like these are the clear white ones which I had. Apparently they are harmless as they were in my tank. They tend to wax and wane depending on how heavily you feed i think.

I've got these in my 'fuge. If my memory serves me right, I recall reading that these guys are predatory towards 'pods.
