I have a frag of the same coral...I believe it comes on a small semi circular smooth-ish disk. I was told that it was a tort but I strongly believe that it is from neither of the two commonly known tortuosa strains. Judging from the coralite structure of the A. pectinatus on aims I am not so sure that is it either. I'd definitely be interested if someone has a good guess as to what it could be.
yeah, it definitely doesn't look like pectinatus, the corallites just aren't all upturned, it's been confusing me for a couple of days now... it's like it almost wants to be a tort but then changed its mind at the last minute

Sorry to hear about that organism...I'd take a pic of mine, but it has since lost the cool green on the inner coralites. It may be a sensitive piece as I saw pretty much only 2 out of 10 pieces where I purchased it that weren't STN'ing.
pretty sure i've got the same one too its lost a little of the cool green but perhaps it will come back. seems to be recovering nicely after i removed it from its aquacultured plug when i first got it.
