thx!

it's an acro but i don't know the name. it's difficult to explain to people without a name :)

actually 30% to 40% of the tissues (the other side of the colony) were completely gone. i suspect that's because the evil crab (tiny, blue eyes and every hairly) has been eating it for at least a few weeks now. there was also a starfish (1/10") that's on it as well. i removed both when i bought it today. at the LFS's tank, there was absolutely no polyp extension but as you can see from the picture, they are coming out now slowly. hopefully it will recover :) thx!

BLUE Acropora :D

Yes, it is. I've found it difficult to keep that super deep/dark blue coloration on them though. They tend to go to a powder blue after they grow out a bit.

maybe that's because too much light? in the LFS's tank, it's in a corner pretty far away from the light.

you guys ever have amphipod causing problem to sps? on the base (which still have a tiny bit of flash) of one dead branch, 2 amphipod appear to be making a 'home' of it. do you think it will be ok?
