Where I work their seems to be alot of stray animals. I feed all the cats that come by but all of them are kind of wild and dirty. For the past couple weeks a new cat has come by and it is easily the nicest and most personable cat I've come across. So for the past two weeks I've been feeding it and it just chills inside the office until we close and he leaves. Well Wednesday it was raining cats and dogs (no pun intended) and it didn't want to leave the office. I decided to take it home and put it in my garage with a space heater and made it a nice bed. The next day I asked one of the neighbors behind us if he knew who the cat belonged to. He told me that a family that lived across the street got evicted and left the cat. So I decided to take it to Kays animal shelter by my house. They told I have to get it checked by a vet and get shots for it. This morning I took it to the vet and got shots for it and took him to Kays. Thats when he revealed to me that they are a kill shelter. After offering the guy money every month not to kill this cat he said no. So the cat is back in my garage. I can't keep him due to alot of persian rugs that are in my house. He is super healthy, and the best way to describe him is that he is a dog trapped in a cats body. He is not fixed or declawed but I grab his paws alot and he just chills and never retracts his claws. I would like to find a good home for him because their is no way I will be responsible for his death. I guarentee that this cat is the nicest cat, it's really unreal. Here are some pics

I have the papers fromt he vet and the vet said he is about 24 months old. If your looking for a cat this is the one. Please PM me if intrested, I just want him to go to a loving home.

But get him fixed and declawed first. I know it sounds mean, but after having cats for nearly 20 years. I finally had a cat declawed, best thing I had ever done, for both of us....

Thanks for the link Chris. If I can't get anyone to adopt him in the next week I will either contact them or Helping Paws.

If I was closer I would take him he looks pretty cool.I can not blame your folks for not keeping him those rugs are very expensive I have a couple upstairs and the dog is not allowed on them period lol.I am sure someone will step up and take him.

A thought - I have no idea about it but suspect that there are many forums for cat lovers, etc. If you post on one of those my guess is you will find a taker.
My kid is allergic to cats so I can't help you.

OMG! Don't do that to me! I almost cried! I've been asking everyone I know. So happy to hear it has a loving owner! They look purrfect for each other.
