Before i got my house I told myself I was going to have my big tank and a pond that I have always wanted :) Well I am working on the 600gal and hopefully will have that up and running in the next few wks... Once I get that and a few other things out of the way I am going to look into setting up 2 ponds, a small one in the front and a decent sized one in the back... I love the sound of water...

The liner I think was 25 x 25. I've got a savio skimmer box and the big 5000 gph savio pump that is a electric hog something like 800 watts 24/7
IA local reefer Chuck put the pond in for me, he gave a little how to type deal to other local landscapers so the laor was free for me. I collected all the rocks in fields that have been cleared for new construction so that save some major money too.
Can wait to get the pond going again this year.

Gosh Shawn, Why such a small tank? LOLOLOLOL Thats about 1/2 the size of my 1 pond! Thats great, you will have to keep us posted on that tank.

Here is a pic of on of the aquired inhabitants, they always find there way into the ponds. The grand kids love them. :D

How do you keep your ponds crystal clear? What is the best way to filter them? I see so many different opinions, I don't know what to believe. I have about a 600 gallon pond by my front door right now.

Just the big savio skimmer box is all I have as a filter, When the pond got really hot it did get some green tint to it but I used some liquid stuff to remove it.
My pond has been plug and play so far
