Here are a couple new fish I picked up. They came in as Plesiops sp and I don't know much more than that. Very cool looking fish but I want to learn more bout their needs:

They look like Soap fish, hard to tell from the picture though. If they are Soap fish don't do much but hide under rock and around pipes waiting for food to come into the tank, like a small grouper.

Very cool. I have never seen any other Plesiopids other than the more common ones (marine bettas, assessors).

I see them all the time and they're usually always there week after week as nobody ever buys them.

Todd,

I also have two Plesiops - but had to split them. Very shy, never come out, stay always in the shade. But I love the hide and seek fish types ;)

BTW - very cool Jawfish in yout other post. Nice undetermined species. Good catch!

I have tow B. fasciolatum since about one year and only a few days ago I could see the first time both at the same moment !! And I have them in a 120 cm tank. This is the most cryptic species I have ever kept.
