pliz help my green umbrella leather

i bought this green leather about a week ago in the lfs. I never have seen it completely open though it seemed healthy. Now there are some parts that are starting to decompose. What shoul I do?
PLease i know it is not too late to discard it, help me here.

ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate are undetectable. pH 7.8-8.0
calcium 380-400
temperature 78-80

lightning 2x96watt Compact Fluorescent

i just chopped the coral into 6 pieces to see if it propagates because the base started to rotten and the other parts are good... i did this yesterday.
