have had him for about 2 months. past 2 weeks on his left side only, what looks like 'salt creep' is growing on his fin (not the tail.)
yesterday it seems to be spreading to the body - where the fin touches / 'flaps' in on the body. he is still alert / moves around and has a healthy enough appetite. the fin is whole and neither ragged, torn, or show signs of being 'eaten' away.
companion fish (bristletooth tang, arabian dottyback and cherub angel) don't have symptoms. housed in a std 125g, mixed reef.
diagnosis? possible cure? medication that can be added straight to dt? pretty sure it is not ich. thanks in advance.
