PLTA wont attach its foot

Ive had my anemone for about a week and half, and I cant get it to attach its foot anywhere, Ill stick it in a crevice in some rocks and on the sand, and he will be happy for about an hour, and then I have to hunt the tank and find him, hes very sticky, eats great, but just rolls around the tank.My tank is 300 gallons, 96" long,30" wide, and 24" tall, 880watts VHO, and 4 250 MH reeflux 12k, any ideas? anybody got any tricks to get them to attach?

How deep is your sandbed, and how big is the LTA?

What lights was it under when you bought it?

How much flow do you have in the tank? LTAs aren't all that fond of high flow, especially when first introduced.

The sandbed varies throughout the tank, anywhere from 1" to 4" in different areas, It was under 250w lights also when I bought it, as far as flow, the tank is 8ft long, one side I have one Vortech MP40, and a closed loop on the back.

well hes still rolling around and has survived a run in with my closed loop intake, Ive got him inbetween some rocks trying to black him from the flow in the tank, he still feels sticky but will not attach his foot at all? any thoughts?
