Plumbing Help ASAP Please!!

hey guys i just recently got a HOB Sump and the conector part from the pump to the sump was broken, and its on the treads so everythign i have tried to fix it dosent work. I went to Home Depot and the guy said that in order to use pvc pipe with 90* elbos i would need to seal them and it would harm the fish. is there anything to use to fix this problem?

Assuming this is for PVC to PVC joints, PVC cement is safe for reefs *after it's totally cured.*

Yup. As Nicole said, just prime, cement, and let cure.
