Plumbing Help

I am looking for some help with plumbing my new tank. I like the clean look of TSwifty's setup. I want to use a main pump and then use something like his manifold where there are several things T'd off the main return with ball valves to adjust flow. I would like to have the return on this along with calcium reactor feed, phosphate/carbon, chiller, and if possible nitrate reactor all fed from main pump. I would like to use pvc instead of hoses and keep things as clean and quiet as possible. I would also like to have some quick disconnects in there as well to make things easy to take apart. Is there anyone that can take a look at my system and help me with this?
Thanks, Jeff

Jeff, I can try and help you out. Can you post some pictures of where you want all the plumbing to go so I can get some ideas going in my head?

Hey Jeff, I found the best way to approach the plumbing was to look at other systems up close, taking pics, etc. That way you can implement the ideas you like and mod things you don't.

BTW, its a haul but you are more than welcome to check things out here.

The options are vast when it comes to plumbing, a bend here a 90 degree turn there. I have found that no matter what you do. Plan to use good quality valves and true unions where ever possible. Having the ability to easily close a valve is priceless in my opinion. The unions also give you the flexibility to allow your system to be changed in the future if you choose to add or remove something.

+1 on Mike660R! My set up is only 1 year old and I have completely replumbed 3 times. Unions and contingencies in your planning will save you time and money down the road.

Sump, Drain is straight down into filter sock.
Return is in a compartment on the left back of the sump.

Sump (ignore the placement of silicone hose, the return section is in the back left and the refugium is in left front.
The skimmer will be on the Right side.
