Plumbing - Please help.

it looks fine, simple and effective

Are there any plans for a refugium in the future or is there just no room?

Keep that horizontal section of the drain line slightly sloped so the air can escape back up, this helps a lot on cutting down on noise. Flat (horizontal) drain lines tend to get ver turbulent and will burb air if there is not a gentle slope in them.

Thanks for the tip. Yeah maybe a fuge, not sure. If so, would I need a tee on my drain line with a cap?

exactly what I was thinking. If you put it on the horizontal run see if you can find a "Y" fitting instead of a tee. Then orient the branch coming off the side or rolled down at about a 45 deg angle, it will help keep the turbidity and noise levels down.
