Plumbing problem

I installed a calfo overflow and one of my overflows is leaking. I attached the bulkhead to the "T" which drains into my sump with flexable pvc. If you look at the close up picture below you can see that there is a little gap. The problem is that I have a leak right in this area that connects the two.

What are my options? I can cut the T off and then I'll have the flex tube in the bulkhead. Will this come out of the bulkhead and T easily? Will I then be able to reinstall?

Take some PVC glue and coat the hell out of it.

I've always been told that when it comes to plumbing, "If it leaks, the best option is to replace the leaky parts or cut out the section that leaks, and use new parts. Eventually, it's possible for the area to leak if it's patched up with PVC glue. Make sure when connecting the next time that there's a good coating of glue to avoid the leak. I've had the same trouble with this, and had a cut a big section of plumbing out to fix a leaky elbow.

PVC glue wont patch it, the plastic will bond together.

get the blue PVC glue, its made for "wet" conditions...it will patch it...I PROMISE...I used it in a big plumbing job...5 tanks into one sump at a fish store...or do like dcombs said, replace the leaky parts...

since it's a drain line there is no pressure to worry about. I'd try gluing it up with a bit more pvc cement.

If that does not work it sounds like I should cout out and replace?

Teflon tape is also your friend.

Yeah, if it's a threaded connection and not glued already, teflon tape is certainly your best bet. Just put wrap it around the threads of the male end so the two pieces fit nice and tight.
