Please take a look at my plumbing. After reading the whole "refugium Tips" post, Anthony mentioned never tee the plumbing from your overflows. I am a bit confused on this. As you can see I do have a few tee's in my overflow plumbing.
The tank is a 120g with 2 corner overflows. The sump, from left to right, Skimmer - return - fuge. I have both overflows going into a manifold with 3 tees. One tee goes into the skimmer section, one tee is for the feed for my turboflotor skimmer and the last tee is going into my refugium. Thought i read somewhere it was good to have the overflow into the fuge. Now i have a feeling i did the whole thing wrong!
OK, questions, do i have the plumbing wrong? Should I have all the water going into the skimmer section first, then to the skimmer and fuge?? if so, how would I supply flow to my skimmer and to the fuge? Also, The plumbing in the fuge goes all the way to the bottom, is this ok or should I have an elbow, spraybar or ???
Someone please help me out. I can redo the plumbing but I'm not sure how.
Anthony if your out there, I could use some help!
Thanks, Bob
