Plumbing Question

Hello all, been out of the hobby for a while, couldnt unlock my old RC account so I started a new one.

I Will be building a 210g to 300g reef with remote sump in basement in August of this year. Tryuing to get some initial rough plumbing and planning done.

So, remote fish room will be in basement. Drain line will have to go down throgh floor, run 20 feet to closet, take a 90 degree turn toward sump room, then 12 foot run after the 90 to sump

How much of a slope/decline is needed in a drain line?

I tried the search function and couldnt find an exact answer I was looking for.

Thanks in advance for all of your help.

Plumbing runs are usually aimed at a quarter inch per foot grade for household drains, so I would take that as a guide. You won't be flushing solids (I hope) but you still want to keep the water moving and the pipes cleared.
