No, it's not a good option for aquarium use. It is not designed to carry water and is not pressure rated. Since it is not designed to carry water, it might also have substances in it that can leach out and poison your reef. Also, I believe the threaded fittings differ as well in that they do not taper like schedule 40 PVC pipe; not sure that the thread is even compatible with the NPT (national pipe thread) used by PVC pipe designed to carry fluids.
