I posted this in other invertabrates section and didnt get to much help.
some1 with some harlequin experience please help. I picked up what i thought to be a male and female but Maybe thats not true. The male seems healthy and hearty and he enjoying the choc start I Have in there. The other one hasnt eaten in the 2 weeks Ive had them. She will try to appraoch the star and she gets terrrified of the smaller male there. He appraoches her whenever he sees her and she runs aways. It doesnt seem as if hes being teratorial... more like hes excited to see her... ( but who really knows.. lol)

I think the larger one is a female cuz the spots on the abdomen have a blue outlining and the smaller doesnt have much blue anywhere. What should I do guys?

I have never had this issue with my harlequins though they are both about the same size. Typically males are smaller and have white plates on the bottom of their abdomen while the female will have spots. Is it possible to return one and get two that are the same size?
