Pocillopora turning white

I bought this frag from kermit's 3 weeks ago and it appeared to be doing fine ... however the bottom 2 branches are turning white and I dont see it poylps extended anymore

This is in my 29g placed as high up as I can get it ... I'd say 3/4 of the way up the tank

checked water quality (salifert test kits / redsea for no2 & no3 )
salinity 1.025
ph 8.3/8.4
alkalinity 9-10
calcium 375-400
nitrates/nitrites less than 5ppm
temperature 79.8 - 80.2 with lights on
Lighting - 250w mh 20k x2 36w actinics
Flow - nanostream ( 660gph @ 15min intervals ) + mj1200 with hydor on it ( 295 gph daytime only )

Using Jay's handout for alkalinity/calcium supplements

also using coralvite/coralaccel/phytoplex 2 times a week


HELP!!!! I'm still a SPS newbie so feel free to dazzle me with your superior knowledge/advice

How long has the tank been set up? Why is the Maxijet only on during the day? Do you have 15 min. intervals of no flow at night?

Jason, how about putting a picture of it in your gallery? And try to keep your calcium in the 400 - 450 range.

No there is always some flow casue I have a fluval 404 on that tank thats is always running ... and to be honest I ran out of plugs ... cept in my daytime slots ... tank has been up since July

My ex took my digital camera when she spilt .... so i dont have any pics ... im shooting for 400-450 range .. im still working out the kinks ... i was dosing calcium supplement fron Kent but i got the Dowflakes and stuff from buckeye after last months meeting
