Pocket Drill Jig

I got mine at woodworkers, $21 plus I had to get the driver and screws. Lowes has them for $19, if you can find it. It's not called a pocket hole jig at lowes. Kreg makes the best one.

For the uninitiated, it's a drill bit jig that you use to make holes to join panels or other thin boards together edge-to-edge. They do a good job of hiding the screws behind the boards.

I like the one Norm has. It's a router based machine that drills the recess and the small diameter holes in rapid succession.

Too bad you not in Denver I can get a Kreg one for you to use, check out my stand build on my home page.

I did, I used your stand as a model for mine, Just not using purple heart for the top :eek1: I can't afford that.

I just moved to Colorado Springs and hadn't changed my location. But it may be a good thing you are finished, cause I had to go back to cleveland for buisness just as the moviers had arrived, and I had no idea that we had so much stuff. Finding the right box in the garage could have proven daunting.

And having just made that drive, I wouldn't recommend it for a weekend jaunt.

I drove from here to Huntsville, Al in July, then upto DC and from DC back to here via 70. Not a fun trip, over 3500 miles in two weeks. I am too old for that kinda driving!!!!
