Pockets of algae in silicone.

I got a free 55g I'd like to use that is in good shape. It holds water fine but has a cosmetic issue. In the inner bead of silicone there are pockets of algae that look to be caused by either pinholes or a nick from a razor. The pockets are away from the actual joint, where the inner seal feathers out.

Any ideas on how to clean this up? I was thinking about bleaching the corners then running some silicone over the bead to seal up the holes. My other option is to cut out the silicone and run a new bead.

Any ideas?

If the tank doesn't leak dont mess with the silicone. Fill the tank with water, dump some bleach in it and run a powerhead in it for awhile.

Agreed or you cold try something milder like vinegar then once the algae has been cleared out get a tube of silicone and patch the little holes where the algae was so it does not happen again

I was able to clear some of it out with a toothpick. I soaked the corner in vinegar for a while first. Trying bleach now to finish it up, then I will patch with new silicone.
