Thanks all. I Havnt seen hardly anyone use the tonga as a main rock so i was curious as to how it would work out. my tank has been running for about a month and aside from the diatom bloom which i think i have under control, I havnt had any problems. Believe it or not those are the stock Blue lights that came with the tank. I was advised not to leave the white light on for very long with the diatoms. once again thanks for the feedback.

Just a suggeation, try tossing on a hydroflo to create come turbulant water movement. It has worked great in my nano and really stimulated random sponge growth and other invertebrate growth on my live rock.

MarineGirl,
if i'm not mistaken, the purple coral appears to be xenia. perhaps pink pom-pom, but i can't say that with 100% certainty.

yes those are green star polyps. That pic was taken right after i added it and the shrimp. the green star polyps have opened up. but i cant decide if i like where i put them on the rock. The other coral is a pink pom pom. And I think my candy cane coral in the right corner has died. She doesnt open up anymore. hopefully i will be adding some zoas this weekend. thanks for the feedback

The Xenia might die in a tank that is not cycled fyi. So don't be wondering why its not doing to well, also place it higher since xenia like light. But nice tonga rock, I like it, keep up the good work.
