I have a pod problem. They say these things are beneficial. I have found that they, at night, attack certain zoos and my blastomussa. I have seen it with my own eyes. Swarms of them nipping and biting at the coral. I even had a disagreement with one of my bestfriends about this issue. He told me that they just eat dead tissue. To prove him incorrect, I moved the corals to the top of my tank where the water current is really strong and they are resting on the intake pipes. Not touching any rocks at all. (I don't see too many pods free swimming, more or less crawling) Since they have been up there, the corals have healed and grown quite a bit. My question is what to do with these pods??? I have heard to add some solution to the tank to kill these crustaceans, but I have a couple of cleaner shrimps and other shrimps that I own. What can I do??? Can someone help me with some advice??
