I want pods not amphipods. copepods is there a way to get some into my tank ?I have live rock but never see any copepods.I went to the aquarium last weekend and there in one of the tanks was a swarm of pods.any sugestions?
my 24 gallon is swarming with pods. They eat the phytoplankton and some are adult size. Alot were cleared out when I took my ocellaris clowns out of the 120 and put them in the 24. There is still a lot of pods on the sand. I read that you have live rock but you didn't say live sand. Thats where most pods come from..live sand. Do you have live sand?..if so then start adding a little plankton.
it was not live sand and i bought some chaeto didn't see any pods but i put some in my tank and my nano (the nano only has a few stars in it) and i got some DT's phyto for some of my coral. How long would it take to see a sizable population? The nano has nothing in it but the 40 has a pair of clowns
