Point and shoot

Hello photography experts!


I am am the very definition of camera stupid. These days while on the forums and posting shots of my tank or coral, I find myself wondering when I can get a halfway ok camera instead of just using my iphone.

Can you make a recommendation for a simple point and shoot camera thats not going to break the bank?Thanks for any information:beer:

I'm not an expert, but I do own a few cameras, I like Sony for point & shoot...well made and user friendly IMO.

For a point and shoot, that's easy to use and takes exceptional photos, I'd have to recommend the Canon G series. The G10 or G12 are amazing P&S cameras.
