Queen Triggers. Wish I had an 8 foot tank to keep one.
yes the queen is the best

I fell in love with them when I saw one over 12'' at the lfs. I put my hand on the glass and he started to attack the glass. Aggressive, but very colorful fish.

Clown trigger. In my opinion there is no more impressive looking adult fish than a big 15-20" clown trigger. Their colors get better and better as they grow.

I would have to say a Hawian Trigger becasue even when they are 10-20 inches long (mine is about 10 in long) they are not agressive & I do not have to worry about it killing everything inside my tank unlike the queen & clown at that size.

I do agree, the queen & clown are SWEET looking it's just the attitude I can do w/o. I use to have a 8-9 in queen that was a total baby. He was SO COOL!! Woldn't hurt anything then a co-worker killed the tank :(

Anyways..... Hawian get's my vote

I like sargassum triggers.

That's the one on the one on page 6 of the new Marine Depot catalog. It's a male that belongs to Aqua-C's president.

I know i may get knocked for this but it's just my oppinion but i love Niger triggers i like the substleness of there color how the right lighting can reveal there true beauty great fish wish i still ahd mine. Next fav would be the Queen trigger great fish yet to see one in the wild here though really shy down here in Trinidad And Tobago.

reading through these favorites reminds me how cool all the triggers are. I was very very tempted to buy a 2 inch undulated the other day, but wasn't sure if I could commit a whole tank to it, I have so many tanks set up now. if he is still there in a few weeks I may have to go for it. :) How long would an undy that size be ok as the sole inhabitant of a 40 gallon breeder?

cosshatch triggers get my vote. The males are just so impressive. Saw a few in Hawaii and u stop breathing for a couple seconds. Which isn't a good thing at 150 feet under water... lol

Titans!!!! They are one of the coolest fish, unfortunately I don't have the tank size to keep one (and don't think I will for a long time).

That being said, I currently have a Niger and love him! He has a really cool personality and loves to be petted anytime I am working in the tank.

So I guess it's kind of a tie between the two. :p

Goto go with titan*69.....................Bluelines,IMO the best looking trigger.
I have yet to see a photo online that does them justice.

Mine is in a 200 gal softie reef and i have had him from 1",he is approx 6" now and hasnt touched one coral.

I will try to get a good photo soon.

Merry xmas all.

While I still vote for the clown, I agree with your assessment of the blueline. It IS odd that there are few good pics of one on the web. I remember seeing one about 10" or so at an LFS 15 years ago and it was stunning. Beige body with neon blue lines all over it, and glowing blue eyes if I remember correctly. Definitely a "WOW" fish.
