Any one have one in their tank?
How do you like them?

Whats the going price on them?

I have had several.


They all seem to get swim bladder disease though.

They are a lot like a Miniatus grouper,

but not quite as mean.



Good price would be 100 dollars

They have came down in price a lot.

I am picking one up next weekend.



The one on live aquaria diver's den is a decent price.

They often get this swim bladder disease because they are collected from deeper waters where the water pressure on their body is much higher.

I've had one for 5 months so far. Seems to be doing fine. I was really worried about swim bladder disease when I picked him up, but he seems to be doing just fine. Hopefully he doesn't develop it.

It's a really cool fish. I like their body shape and behavior. Be sure you have a secure top, though, or you'll have a grouper jumping at you every feeding. The second food hits the water, mine launches himself at it. I have to be quick in closing the lid or I get splashed pretty bad.

I think 125-200 is a good price for one.
