Polyethylene plastic containers

Bought a Japi plastic pottery containers to use as my ATO container. It states that the container is made up of recycled plastic (polyethene). It does not state a numer. Is it safe to use?

If it's polyethylene, it's either number 2 or 4 (hdpe/ldpe) which are both fine. Polypropylene (number 5) is also safe.
