Polyfilter for trace removal

Is there one type of polyfilter best for the removal of toxic minerals etc? My search for polyfilter turned up different ones by different manufacturers. Thank you.

Do a forum search on "polyfilter" and you will find some pertinent information. My understanding is that there is only one manufacturer.
