Polyp Extension at night?

I was examining my tank with the lights off and noticed that a few of my acros have twice the polyp extension with the lights off as they do during the light period. Is this normal, a form of feeding or protection, or is this maybe an indication that my light settings are not correct?

It's quite normal. SPS's feed at night.

It was only an hour or two after the lights went out.

The reason I dose acropower all night via a dosing pump.

I dose Elos Omega an 1Hr before lights out and feed an Hr or so after lights out. Pro-skimmer (or whatever the new name is) and Oyster Feast are the main ones.
