polyp help!

today i got a green star polyp frag but its not attached to a rock but just the pinkish purpleish layer. do i have to tie it to a rock and wait for it to attach?

You could do that or just simple put it inside and acrylic box or something like that with rocks and maybe in 1 to 2 weeks will be attached to it.

You could also glue it down.

Keep in mind, it could take a while to open up.

ya use the acrilyc box idea gluing polyps allways scares me
